Bullfinches are known for being shy and retiring, and according to the BTO garden survey they visit fewer than 10% of UK gardens,  but we are one of the lucky places to have Bullfinches visiting our feeders, right by our windows, all year round. At present 5 adults- three male and two female are coming to the seeds every few minutes throughout daylight. They are happy to feed with three other finches- here they are with Goldfinch and Greenfinch, while Chaffinch are also coming a lot. Since 1967, sadly, Bullfinch numbers have declined by 36%. Conditions: Cloud and sunny intervals. Showers later. Temperature: Max 18- Min 15C.
